Dear Friends,
It is with much joy that I am able announce to you that beginning on Christmas, Mass will be streamed live from Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lubbock, TX!

After months of delays and roadblocks of one type or another, we finally have been able to complete all the necessary preparations for this apostolate. You will need a high-speed connection in order to properly receive this broadcast.

Go to www.catholichour.org and link to Holy Mass Live; scroll down the page and click on the arrow. In the near future a picture of our sanctuary will be posted there, along with the Mass schedule.

The broadcast for Christmas will begin on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at 11:25 p.m., Central Time. Prior to Mass the Choir and Congregation will sing traditional Christmas hymns, concluding with procession to the manger, where the Christ Child will be placed in the crib. A few minutes later, Mass will begin with the intonation of the Asperges Me, followed by a Latin Tridentine High Mass.

I encourage you to tell others who may be interested in listening, especially those who are unable to attend Mass on Christmas.

Mass will be streamed live each Sunday, beginning at 8:55 a.m., Central Time, from Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lubbock, TX.

These Masses will be archived on our website for those who wish to listen at another time.

As with any endeavor like this, it takes money to stay "on the air." Your kind donations are gratefully appreciated. Please give what you can and remember us in 2012.

May you have a Blessed Christmas,
Fr. Joseph, OFM
