even as where Jesus is, there is the Catholic Church'' Ignatius of Antioch, 1st c. A.D
Just finished listening to Bishop Giles' sermon - wonderful! Always so much 'meat' in the sermon to apply to my own life; I'm sure we all experience this working of the Holy Ghost on our hearts and souls, our conscience.
Did tune in last Friday for the radio program, and yes, Bishop Louis was in fine form as usual. Worth another listen, to confirm in my mind the important points he made in refuting the Modernists.
Made a point after Mass to listen again to Father Bernard's sermon! They are all worth rehearing, and this one seems even more so.
Thank you once again for always posting these links for us, and for the other posts as well. Hopefully we are progressing step by step, or as my son David, cheerfully said to me, helping me walk one day when I was very sick, "Just one foot in front of the other, Mom, one foot in front of the other." And isn't it just this way in our spiritual life as well? We hope for this, and if we're serious, and we'd better be serious, we work for it. Thanks be to God for His great Mercy, all His helps along the way - so SO much for which to be thankful!
So, so true Sr. Cecelia!! Every one of these sermons/shows are fantastic! Just waiting for Fr. Bonaventure to complete the set. I hope everyone realizes that I use the same post to put up all of the sermons - even if its several days later.
